I was checking out the latest poll numbers for President Obama. The Washington Post/ABC poll numbers state that only 49% of Americans now have faith in President Obama to make the right decisions for the country. It was at 60% of Americans at the 100 day mark. A lot of polls suggest that the Liberals and some Democrats are losing faith in him.

I've been hearing and reading info from different people saying the President should be tougher. Fight back harder against the Rebublicans who are bashing him and the healthcare plan. Send out the dogs. Knock some heads of the Democrats who won't stay on message and walk in lock step with the party. Go for it, and not care what others think, just do it and get the job done.
Some say he even need to be more like Bush. What the hell???????? Millions of people voted against all these tactics last November 4th. So now he is supposed to go against the very ethics he have been fighting for all of his political career.
Everyone see President as someone different, I see him as a centrist, he like to bring people together. It's not always about wanting to be liked as a person, as some people claim. But he is someone who will always look at two sides of a problem, then stake his claim right down the middle. It seems he will take 1/2 a loaf as opposed to no loaf at all. He figure he can get the rest of what he want at a later date, through other means. Why stress and get grayer when you don't have to.
Our President is sharp, Knowledgeable, calm, steady and most people don't even see him coming. Some would call it going rouge. He is not lucky he is stragetic. So instead of trying to browbeat him by saying you won't support him or calling him weak, (He is far from being weak) trying to get him to do what you want, know from watching him win election after election very stragetically and calmly, without all the hate and backbiting. President Obama and his advisors have a plan, for everything he was elected to do, it's mapped out. And I am sure they tweak it as needed depending on the circumstances of the day or week.
It may not be what or the way his supporters feel the avenue he should take to get the job done. But the main purpose is to get the job done. And right.
Sure he is using political capital on this healthcare bill. He expected it would cause a stir on the right and some on the left, but I don't think he expected all the hate mongers to come out in full force. Most of them objecting to the bill that would really help them. The haters are fighting against their own intrests. That is what make them look really stupid.
If President Obama really lose his cool, and go after the wingnuts whole hog, then the far right would say, "See I told you, he is an angry black man" then they feel like they would have won. Our President is to smart for that. Governing is hard, and ugly. I hope he continue to let the haters go on their merry way and destroy themselves. While he continue to walk the talk and get the country back on solid ground.
Once this bill is passed and go into effect, the American people will see and reap the rewards of all the hard work that went into trying to save our healthcare system.
It's not going to mean or help the same to and for everyone, but at least for the first time in 60 years, a President has the guts and vision to step up regardless of what it cost him to help the American People. I respect that. And will continue to support him. You should to. The United States voted for Change in the last election. Change have come to America.

President Obama's Fight To Get Healthcare Reform
It's a new week. The news media have to have something to talk about. And they have to make it exciting enough to keep people tuned in. So they decided to go to the townhall meetings where the protesters are. Now they don't talk to the normal people who just disagree with the presidents policies. But capture all the far right wingnuts toting death to Obama signs, or Obama is Hitler signs, even a nut with a gun strapped to his leg. Then you have the biggest wingnuts, and I mean NUTS and Liers of all time with Sara Palin and Rep Chuck Grassley calling a provision for doctors to have end of life consultations with their patients, death panels to kill grandma.
The media took those dumb peoples stupid words as sound bites and ran with it, trying to scare old people. Just so they could make a story to carry.
Every time one of those stories come on tv, I change the channel. It's even embarrassing to watch. The media capture the people who are white, mostly heavy weight, men and women, hair standing up on their heads, mouth wide open, not dressed well and look wide eyed crazed and hateful, shouting hateful words, which make the rebublicans look really, really bad. It's sad.
It looks horrible, and out of about 100 or more great constructive townhalls, only about 6 or 7 was highjacked by far rightwingers like this. And the media hyped it across the nation to make it seem like all the townhalls were like this. And that is not so. Not only that some news media like Fox news, are having a bash fest putting out lies about the healthcare bills.3 or 4 out of the House and 2 or 3 out of the Senate where NONE are final bills.
By the way I have read all one thousand seventeen pages of this bill. And nothing in it scare me.

Each committee have their bills. Then the House will go through them and create 1 bill then vote it out of the House.
The Senate have 3 bills, where they will be combined, then vote on out of the Senate.
Then the House and Senate will combind the best parts of both bills that they can agree on, then the House and Senate will vote together one Healthcare Bill for the nation.
Why the hell is everyone picking apart parts, and I mean just parts of the Healthcare bill? It's stupid. Whatever is in the bills now, a lot of it won't be in the final bill.
Then what do the opposition do. Still attack it anyway, even if it can help bring down insurance costs for millions of americans.
From what I am seeing, a lot of people who are opposed to this are the main people who would benefit greatly from healthcare reform.
I hear people saying, I don't want this burden on my kids and grandchildren. Well if something isn't done NOW about the abuse and waste within the insurance industry, then your kids and grandkids won't have a future at all. Mega debt. The same with the stimulas package, everyone talking about not creating the green jobs. We don't have a manufacturing base in america anymore. We don't make anything. So no jobs. So we have to create one. Common sense.
Lay the foundation, so that others within the industry can build on it. So our kids and grandkids can have something to look forward to. And build on. While saving our environment and creating jobs that will last.
Anyone wonder why the same people, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and the people who own them that make 3 or 4 million dollars in salary a year are against healthcare reform for the public? It take away from their multi million dollar salaries a year. While they pay lobbyist to try and kill any type of reform. They gin up a crowd of people with lies about the government taking over their lives and some people who don't think for themselves will fall for the lies, and go out and protest against their own intrest. Not realizing that they are depriving themself of something they need themself.
If they are ok now, and nothing is done to fix this mess of a system. Then the next wave of people affected by skyrocking prices or dropped from their coverage will be the same protesters.
What will they do? Will it be ok for them? I wonder.
President Obama was elected with a mandate to fix this system. President Obama gained 53% plus of the popular vote and 365 electoral votes in the last election. That is a lot of people who want change. People expect him to stick to his promise and pass healthcare reform with a public option. If he don't he will lose a lot of his base. My question is, why use up all this political capital and not get a good bill that the people of america want and need?
This is what I think will play out. Nancy Polosi will get a good public plan out of the House. The Senate will not have a public option. Once both bills are merged, a public option or a Co-OP plan that will have the elements from the public plan implemented so it will have a different name but yeld the same results, will be in the final bill. That will be in order to get some conservatives and liberials on board to vote for it. It sounds crazy, but that is now our government works.

The Congress and Senate should also tackle Malpractice Tort Reform, in this bill. And not slide some other junk, they have been wanting to pass in it. Like they did the gun law in the last bill.

Obama, Gates and Sgt. James Crowley Gate
And so the door will now close on the Gates/Gate beer fest of the week. The whole incident hyped mostly by the MSM (Main Street Media) must of been a slow news week. Anyway all the crazies jumped in calling each other outlandish and offensive names, in which the MSM jumped in airing all the ignorant peoples soundclips over and over. For what reason I will never know. Because I changed the channel every time the subject came up, which was a lot.
Let's see, President Obama was asked a question at a press conference. His opinion. And he proceeded to give it. But of course he can't do that. It's not politically correct according to many people. It's not his job to address any states business. How did that work for George W. Bush in Louisiana and Katrina? So I think sometimes it's ok to stick your nose in states affairs.
What if the president did not care about states job unemployment, and floods, and H1N1 flu or police officers or firemen etc.. I could go on and on. Should he keep his mouth shut? I think not. It show that he is paying attention.
Most people just want to sweep anything about race or racial injustice under the rug. It's not good party chatter. Everyone know that it go on or is there, but it's something that you just don't talk about or get outraged about unless it's a child or a death involved. Then "Oh My God!!!!!" how can this happen in America? Bull everyone need to get a grip.
This is how I see it. President Obama was asked a question on what he thought about the arrest of Professor Gates by Sgt. James Crowley of the Cambridge Police Dept. The President instead of hedging on the question gave a what he thought was a truthful thought out answer. Personally I would of left the word "stupidly" out of it. Mind you our President is a Civil Rights Constitutional Lawyer and Professor. So I am sure he do know the laws of the land.
As he said, and I thought the same thing when I heard the story. Why would someone take to jail a older man who is walking on a cain, once the police found out he was in his own house?
Even if the older man was raising hell. I know I would be if I felt I was profiled as a burgler in my own house. What happened to freedom of speech?
Ok so now the President is bashed by many black, white, pink and blue people about saying the police acted stupidly. On and on, then race became a part of the circus because of the report that Sgt. Crowley wrote up. Race would not of been apart of the conversation if it was not in the police report. Which bring in the good neighbor who called the police in the first place helping out another older lady who was not sure of what she was seeing, but to make sure (better be safe than sorry) that someone's home was not getting broken into. Mrs. Whalen did as any good citizen would do. But she was misquoted by Sgt. Crowley. She never said it was two black men, (Here is the report)

to make a long story short, even she was called names and harassed. Again what is wrong with people? And the media don't help, by drumming up everything they can to make a story. I have never seen so many black analysis on race relations, black pastors and black newsmen wanting them to give their various opinions on the subject of race profiling in America. We all know it's there. It's always been there, and will continue to be so as long a every person in America have a opinion.

The reason for the meeting was so over shadowed by the MSM of what kind of beer each participant was going to drink and the political ramifications of not choosing a Made In America brand. Recovery.gov there are over 30,000 projects listed working with the recovery money, creating thousands of jobs.
The recovery act has only spent 17% of the total $780 billion dollars so far, not only these projects but helping the states keep police, fireman and teachers from getting laid off, giving the states billions of dollars. Extended unemployment benifits for millions of Americans also, a tax break for 95% of the working class citizens in America.
What everyone have to remember when it come to creating new jobs or getting rehired to their former jobs. It is going to take a few years to get 14 or 15 million people back to work. The Whitehouse need to just lay the message out and stright to the American people. The jobs that went overseas will not be back. A lot of the jobs that have laid off people will not be calling those people back. Because they have downsized to a more workable model for them.
Here is where the New Green Jobs come in. All the restructing of American manufacturing jobs in the New Green Industry. Money for setting up these jobs and training for these jobs is in the Recovery Package. Now main street investors need to come on board because this is where American jobs are headed. Right now we don't make hardly anything in this country. We are starting from stratch again. And the American people would be smart to get behind the vision of a new green economy, because this will help America, in the out years and the long run of creating new jobs that will remain right here in America.
People, a new green energy economy will also mean Americans will have to be retrained for these new jobs. All of this (the jobs) is not going to start next week, but within the next year or two. So people need to start going back to school now, programs need to be set up now so once the jobs are in place, the workers can be hired to them. A lot of the jobs will be on the job training but a lot won't. So now is the time for people to educate themselves on the next vision for this country. The government can't do it all, regardless what some people want you to think. People have to get off their behind and help the Whitehouse put these programs in place. It is the future of America that will effect us all.
