Our Mr Cool, President
All the nail biting votes and sessions within the Senate and the House Of Representatives. All the pundits on cable news, some hollering, some so assured that whichever vote that is coming up on legislative issues, the wars, or even if he likes or dislikes someone, all are bad or not right, or spilling lies as to what he should do or not do.
His Presidency has failed after 10 months. WOW, just 10 months? The left and some Democrats are pulling and trying to push their agenda first, NOW right NOW. The Right (Republicans) and the Teaparty movement is the party of NO. Nothing, only trying to stop anything and everything the President put forth on his agenda. My stupid Senator DeMint want to stop anyone from getting Healthcare, even his state, my state where more than half the people within the state DO NOT HAVE HEALTHCARE. Or can't afford to purchase a policy. DeMint don't care, he have Healthcare. He want to stop Healthcare so it can be President Obama's Waterloo. Sad.
I wrote about this before, President Obama's governing style. This is for all the nail-biters on the Democratic side and the Media. I'm excluding the Republicans, they only say and vote NO for everything the President do anyway.
Our President is cool, calm and collected. He was raised in Hawaii, so therefore he carry that cool Hawaiian zen of calmness with him always. The calm come with the waters, that surrounded him as a child growing up. It's in his demeanor. Never to high and never to low. I've seen his emotion show twice.
Once during the campaign when he told the media and some TV people that was bashing Michelle, "They need to lay off my wife man" and he said those words very strong and matter of fact. (And they did stop) The other time was the day before the 2008 election November 3rd, when he told a crowd in North Carolina, that his grandmother had died and how she was a unsung hero. Tears was flowing down his face in realization and grief.
So we know where his emotion lies, with his family. You want to get our President mad. Mess with his family. Anything else you won't see an uproar of emotion. Oh the other thing he said he got really mad about was, when he took Michelle to New York for dinner and a play. In which he paid for everything. He said that got him really mad. I've seen that expressed in interviews and in a print interview. His critics complained because he took her on a date out of the state. (Me thinking knowing most black men) I can hear him at home now, " I'm a grown ass man" no one can tell me what I can and can't do with my wife, F### them. Now that's our President mad and going real black. (Again my thoughts).
No other President that I can think of has been under as much scrutiny as our President. It's as if everyone woke up after President Bush left office with an asshole for brains decided to speak. The Republicans walking in lock step, party of no. The wing-nuts and racists out in full force. The Left Liberals want everything now, like all he have to do is wink his eyes, and everything they have wanted for the last 8 or more years should be done right now.
Blacks are hollering, we have to hold him accountable, accountable for what? Hell I don't remember their ass out in full force for anyone or anything since Martin Luther King. Until President Obama. And the Gays, hollering President Obama is not paying enough attention to us. He is moving to slow. The Hispanics, some even running to John McCain wanting his to help push President Obama faster on their priorities. They are all saying all he have to do is sign an executive order to change some of their wants and intrests. Hell they complained that President Bush was doing it illegally. President Obama want things done legal so things can become a law and the next President can't overturn it.
Now just because they want stuff done right now, it's ok for President Obama to do it.

Shut The Hell Up. Sit down and let the man take a breath. He have 3 more years in office and he is approaching things as he can get to them. He can't write laws. The Senate and Congress do. Attack your Senators and Congressmen and women, push them to pass the correct laws that interest your concerns, then the President will have something to sign.
Our President have 2 wars, a pandemic, economic crisis, job crisis, banks, cars, Iran and North Korea. Among other things he is working on. Give the man a break it's only been 10 months. He have not even had a chance to take a real breath since taking office, or grieve for his grandmother, before the piles of Democrats, Liberals, Wing-Nuts and Republicans as well as other World Leaders all pounced on him wanting this and that. Leave him alone so he can get some work done.
OK I'm back, sorry about the rant, it just seem like I don't care what he do, or how he do anything at all, there is a critic waiting in the wings to criticize.

This is for everyone, our President is not going to be someone who jumps up and down and screams, or cusses, or twist or break arms, to get his way in the House and Senate.
Never going to happen. President Obama is like that stern father or uncle, or mother even, that will sit in a chair and listen to all your gripes and complaints, looking at you as if you aren't even there, or the look, that says, you can say all you want, we are going to get this done, and you are going to help or else.

Many strategists say no one fear the President, so they will do just what they want in the party.
The fear is or else. What is or else? What will he do, what will he instruct his posse to do to you if you don't comply with the straight and narrow? Will the Democratic party walk away from you at election time? Will the President instruct the Liberal base attack you in your home states, or run someone against you at election time? Will their money be cut off at election time from the Democratic Party? Will the President stop sending anyone to help campaign for them? See there are ways to get things done in Washington without President Obama being known as the arm and leg-breaker, or the angry black man President. As he would be known by the Republican Party happily. Hit them where it hurts with no support, or money to continue running for office.
Not happening, we have a wonderful strong black President. He is calm, he let angles play out in public because he want it that way. He is not going to interfere with the Senate or Congress, he let them do their job. He directs quietly from the Whitehouse. He makes his calls daily to them to access progress and will summon someone to his office that have a problem. Our President is a Moderate, not a Liberal as some want to portray him. He is conciliatory. Where he do bring in opposing points of view to get a drift of what is going on so he can put up a good game plan for their next action.
From the outside, everyone, is he is not going to make it, he won't get this or that. Well I say yes he will.
It may not be all or everything on his wish list, but at least he have a start. And he know that once a bill is passed it is easier to add to a bill than to get one passed. So pass it. Then add to it every 2 or 3 months. Eventually you get your entire plan in place.
I'm watching how he is working with interest. It's really compelling. The political strategist are debating daily if he will make this deadline or that deadline. Only the President is cool calm and collected. Staying on message and going about getting the nations business done.
While the media and strategists are speculating as to how he will get anything done, because working with Democrats is like herding a bunch of cats. We have a large party with different priorities, and idea's. Democrats don't walk in lock step. But when it counts, they step up to the plate. As do our President.
