Obama Against All Odds

Obama Against All Odds

My goodness in the wake of the Oil Spill on the Golf Coast why is Obama so calm? He isn't banging his fists on the desk shouting profanities at BP's president and board of directors. Or why isn't he on TV 24/7 with tears streaming down his face at the unjustness of those who will be affected by this man made disaster. Why isn't he doning high boots, big rubber gloves and a slicker and wading through the oil stained beaches down there in New Orleans LA? Just so the public can see that he know that oil is on the beaches.

If anyone expect him to act a fool on TV for the cameras they can forget it. It's not him. President Obama's calm cool demeanor in a crisis is what make him so unique as a President, and why so many millions voted him into office. He is always calm before the public. But when others behind the scenes describe what went on it's a totally different story. Such as one report where he told his advisors and administration officials "Just Plug The Dam Hole." And I am sure much more was said out of his frustration on the matter.

The news media want the story, no matter how stupid or incorrect it is. For the last week the media have trotted out anyone and everyone, who want to criticize President Obama for not looking or sounding angry enough, about the Golf Spill. All the so called political talking heads on cable that want to say, he needs to show more anger, he need to go down there and get oil on his hands and feet. I even heard someone say, if it was Clinton he would be down there in a wet suit, in the oil. How stupid is that? How is that helping anyone? NOT.

President Obama is doing what he is supposed to do. File orders and keeping people and holding people accountable from behind the scenes.
I hear on NBC and MSNBC and others that he is struggling to manage this oil spill. There is no struggle. President Obama have sent over 20 thousand people with feet on the ground in the Golf working to help control and clean up this oil spill. And Friday on his visit there, is tripling the amount of people. He has been in contact with BP, and all the Governors of those Golf Coast states, also he have spoke with some of the business owners of the Golf and how this is affecting them and their business.

I will say this again and again. The only time you will see true emotion and passion from our President is when he is talking about his family. Anything pertaining to his wife or children. Then you will see him get emotional. Otherwise it's just not part of his nature.
Glen Beck the lowest of scum on this earth. This past week he made fun of the President's daughter. After realizing his stupidity he gave a half ass apology. Which means nothing coming from that jackass. Something needs to be done by networks who employ such people. Beck needs to realize what goes around will come back to him 3 fold, with a vengeance.

First off all, this is not the Presidents fault. It's BP's and Congress who let the oil and coal industry dictate the rules and laws pertaining to their own industry. Congress Democrat and Republicans deregulated the Oil, Gas and Coal Industries so much that they are not really by law held responsible for much or any in some cases of the damage they are doing to our coast lines. And the health and welfare of Americans working for them.

I think the news media need to get a better grip on how to cover this President and his team. If it's no news they try to make up some. A person can always tell when it is a slow news day. Someone will make up a subject. And if the President's Administration don't give them the info they want to hear, such as the non Sustack story. Then they try and try to make a story. All week they have been speculating on the first scandal of the Administration. Now how stupid do the media look. And Republicans, for trying to make something out of nothing. I say very. Running after something that was nonexistent. They told the media it was nothing to it. Just think if they had put this much effort into investing the Bush Administration. Then maybe President Obama would not have a weekly world crisis to take care of. He don't have time to look mad. Or to show every kind of emotion the media want to see.

You know what! President Obama will use this spill and the PA coal explosion to get the right laws passed that is needed for the American people who work on the Oil Rigs and in the Coal Mines. People should not have to die and lose their lively hood in search of making a living for their families. While the owners of these companies get fat and happy at the expense of human lives.

So against all the odds, President Obama will get the laws in place that are needed. Deregulation of those industries for the last 30 or more years have not served the American people well. It seems that as soon as he walked into the door of the Oval Office,

The financial system finished crashing,
2 wars Afghanistan and winding down Iraq,
Reaching out to neighbors across the world to straighten our presence,
A Pandemic the Swine Flu,
North Korea and Iran acting a fool,
The Healthcare Debate,
Gitmo Debate,
3 terror try's on US ground,
Fighting unjust laws of Immigration,
Fighting Wall Street to get good laws passed,
Massive floods in various states, where they needed Government assistance,
Don't Ask Don't Tell bill,
Unemployment,
Coal Mine explosion, Killing US citizens,
Oil Rig explosion, Killing US citizens,
And more,

Again, Against All Odds
President Obama have stepped up to the plate, and in many cases prevailed mightily. And will continue to do so. All in just a year and a half in office. And he is getting no credit. It seems when one thing come to a close then another historic event will happen. Everything the previous administrations have put in place is falling down around the American people and affecting their lively hood. And it's happening on President Obama's watch. And the news media want him to show emotion. Please. If he did, it would blow their minds. He don't have time for the visuals the media want to make news about. He is busy putting the right people in place to solve these problems. This is not a man who play the media games well. He is about seeing progress and making things happen. So media, realize, you have a different kind of President and Administration. You cannot compare him or them to anyone or any other Administration. Because the problems we face, and have to endure, comes from the lack of all the others dealings.

Against All Odds he won this historic election to be President. And Against All Odds, little by little he and his administration will put America back together again.

By the way, just suppose we had a President McCain. Would he suspend the Presidency as each crisis come up? The media would of had plenty of emotions going on. Thank God we elected the right man for the times we are in.

Media get a grip and report some real news about the American people. About how these problems are affecting them. And leave the dumb stuff alone. Then maybe the American public would trust the media again.
