If the Obama Administration was anti-business why would they have saved the banks, auto companies, and helped 1000's of businesses get loans, or grants. Forbes and Zuckerman see their influence over this Whitehouse leave with a quickness. Not having the same influence as a Republican Whitehouse. The Obama Administration is trying to help and assist the small businesses in this country. That is our middle class.

People like Forbes think if they scare people everyone will turn away from the President. With good results coming slowly but sure, the naysayers do not have a leg to stand on.

This is why the Republicans in the House and Senate is holding up unemployment relief for millions. They think people will flock to them voting time. This is why the Republicans wanted the help for small businesses taken out of the bills, their thinking is if the small businesses are failing then they will turn to the Republicans.

Us Democrats and Liberals need to shout daily, from radio, TV, blogs, newspapers and cable. That the Republicans want this country to fail, just so people will vote them back in office.
They think the American people are stupid. They see what the Republicans are doing. And they will not vote for them come November. Don't they realize that millions of Republicans are unemployed to. Republicans tried to scare Americans in 2008, and they are still trying to scare them now. It's not going to work. Not this time. Not now.

We Democrats, Liberals and Democratic leaning Independents have to fight. We are in a bad dog fight against the Right Wing Republicans, and Tea Party people. And the Right Wingers are fighting dirty.

Organizing For America need to hire some professional hit men and women to fight back online, on TV and on the streets. These Right Wingers are trying their best to bring down the Obama Administration and it's time to fight back just as dirty as they are. Debunk any and every lie as soon as it is spoken or posted.

There is no need for the Administration to get in the dirt with these lowlifes. They need to pay some people to counter every negative ad, every negative talk show shill, every disgusting blog post or web site. Clamp down on all of them as soon as they hit with their crap.

The Liberals seem to of abandoned Organizing For America because they didn't get a Public Option, Van Jones, DADT or the Energy Bill that is on hold in the Senate.
Don't they realize that President Obama can't vote on these bills all he can do is sign them. DADT is a law and he is trying to get the Senate and House to pass a bill to repeal it. And they will.

It's like when President Obama was elected all the Liberals and Democrats felt that he could fix the country overnight. That was never going to happen. It's going to take years. Even he said that the night he was elected. He said " We will have setbacks, and false starts. We may not get there in one year or even one term. But I promise you. We will get there." That statement was realistic and pragmatic. He can't accomplish all that have to be done alone. He need the Netroots and Grassroots help.

When he was elected everyone that worked to get him elected, and voted for him, went home and sat down waiting for the miracles to happen. They did not realize that the fight and work have just began.

That President Obama needed them to keep up the pressure, on our elected officials to cast the votes needed for his agenda. Some still worked full throated. But the majority of the teams felt that their work was done, and then everything they wanted was supposed to happen right away.

Never was going to happen. So now I would say. Get up off your asses from in front of the computers and TV's and get out there and work on behalf of the cause. No way in hell are we going to give the Republicans the reigns to pull us back into Bush country. With the haves overpowering the have nots.

Stop complaining about what the Whitehouse is not doing. What the hell are you doing to help them? I don't believe a lot of these polls saying that the Presidents approval is as low as 44%. That is about 1,500 people out of the 63 million people that voted for him. This guy still draw thousands of people on a visit to various states and places. He can still pack a house everywhere he go. To thousands of cheers and maybe one or to jeers. Is still able to raise millions of dollars at one stop. So that should tell you something right there.

Most people with common sense know that it's going to take years to get this economy back to what is considered normal. Jobs took 8-10 years leaving, and so it's going to take years to create a new economy where we make things in the US. This is why it's stupid and ignorant for some news media and Republicans to expect a whole new industry to materialize in 18 months in office. They are pushing that crap and the public is believing them.

This is why the Whitehouse have to hire some good spokespeople to get out there and tell it like it is. President Obama is working on the long term problems this country is facing. Not feel good items just for an election season. Items on his agenda that will put the US on a good sustainable path for years to come. So again it's up to us to get out of our chairs and help him. Again, he can't do it alone. We need to help vote in people who will compliment his agenda and pass good legislation.

Obama Know He Is Black

There are so many dumb headlines and blog posts about Obama being black. I just saw one headline that says, "Does Obama Need More Black People Around Him?" or some that say he need to talk more about race. And the ones that piss me off badly is from black professors saying Obama runs from race. That he don't want to talk about it.

Honestly they sound so stupid, the thoughts are just plain crazy. Some headlines say that the Obama Administration is scared of the right wing media and their scare tactics on race. The Administration isn't scared of them. They just think they are stupid, meanwhile, keeping on track and on message with their agenda, while the news hounds run after non stories. Missing the real story. This is the way most Americans view the media.

Hell Obama know he is black, he see his completion every day when he look in the mirror.
Now tell me again how many more black people around him do he need. His black wife, 2 black kids, his black mother-in-law, a host of inlaws and outlaws within the family, mega black friends. His black assistant Reggie Love, black Valerie Jerrett, all black Eric Holder, Susan Rice, Ron Kirk, Melonie Barnes, and I have seen quite a few more black folks around that Whitehouse.

President Obama know what it is like to be black and poor. He have lived it. As a black man I am sure he has also had to deal with racial profiling. Every black man do, directly or indirectly. He can't anymore run from being black than he can stand up and declare that he is a white man with that color skin. So the news media, and the Harvard and Princeton Professors can either get a soap box and start the conversation on race themself, or shut the hell up. Our President have mega problems on his desk. He is never on vacation totally. He don't need to start a conversation about race, because he know who he is. He know that poor black and white people are hurting. He know that the black population have the lowest education stats, and jobless rates. And he is quietly passing legislation to address these problems. White the media again run after a non story.

Just as the news media harp on the stupid questions that no one can do anything about. Why don't they show some real journalism about our poor education system in the US, the plight of the poor, black or white. Report on the tent cities and homeless so other Americans will know what is going on around them. Because Americans have a very short attention span.
These Harvard and Princeton Professors should have black seminars, and trust me, put the word black on something or a label, and the media will show up, in the Obama age. Do it yourself, why are you waiting on the President? That is why nothing get done. Everyone is waiting on someone else. The President is busy, race is a charged subject. If the President decided to have seminars on race it would blow up so bad that nothing on his agenda would ever get done. Nothing. Because that subject would suck all the air out of anything he tried to get done.

If and I say if the President wanted to address the race issue, he should wait until he is out of office. The subject of race is important, but we have bigger fish to fry right now. It's the economy stupid, Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. And 2 wars to wind down, Gitmo to close, Energy Reform and Immigration Reform to pass. I could go on and on. This President is thriving on completing the hard things. He is not taking the easy way out. You can tell by his poll numbers. This President is working hard for the American people. THAT is what the reporters should be reporting on. Not some 2 day story about a low level employee getting fired that they stretched into a week. First of all who in their right mind believes anything that come out of fox supposed to be news? Or any conservative blogger,specifically Tea Party Activist Andrew Breitbart.
No one with common sense.

Shirley Sherrod is the perfect example of Washington over reacting to race relations yet again. The media don't help either. The media did not do their homework either before they first reported the story from fox. Anyone with common sense would check a story completely coming from fox before reporting it. The media, NAACP and Washington reacted the same way with Acorn. Don't people realize these are real peoples lives that are ruined. But then again they don't care because it's not them.

NAACP President Ben Jealous ran with a so called tape with Mrs Sherrod speaking about not treating whites the same as blacks. Mrs Sherrod is black. The sad part is fox news and Andrew Breitbart edited the tape to only show part of the tape, Mrs Sherrod was actually giving an example of what NOT to do, and how things have changed over the years, if you watched the whole tape.

Now the NAACP is saying,
"The tape of Ms. Sherrod’s speech at an NAACP banquet was deliberately edited to create a false impression of racial bias, and to create a controversy where none existed," Jealous said Tuesday afternoon. "This just shows the lengths to which extremist elements will go to discredit legitimate opposition."

A day late and a dollar short, with that statement. Mr Jealous also called Mrs Sherrod and apologized.
Now Mr Secretary Vilsack need to do the same. And pray that Mrs Sherrod forgives them for jumping the gun. Now this is one time I feel the President need to step up and give a statement about this situation with Secretary Vilsack and Mrs Sherrod by his side. If she would come after all of these lies told on her.

And no one ever again take anything fox news say as truth. Or at least until a full investigation is done before commenting, and have a back up source.

Everyone at fox so called news hate the President and everyone in his Administration. They will do or say any and everything they can to try and bring him and his Administration down. Everyone in the Whitehouse know it and the other Media outlets know it. So why do they all act as if these people are real news journalists is beyond me. No wonder people are losing faith in government, they are to blind to see beyond Washington.

Mr Vilsack, you made a mistake, call Mrs Sherrod and apologize, and ask her to come back to work. And make a public apology about her case. We all make mistakes. Man up and own yours.

President Obama Don't Kiss Anyone's Ass To Get Along

President Obama is not going to kiss no ones ass. I am reading about the visit from Israels PM Netanyahu set for Tuesday of this week. Some Republicans, Democrats and news media are all up in arms saying that President Obama is ruining the United States relationship with Israel. Because he won't cave to all of Israels wants. Pertaining to the blockade that Israel have against Gaza and not stepping up to the plate with talks with the Palestinians with the 2 state solution for Mid East Peace.

I am not a policy expert by any means. All I know is what I read and follow on TV. From all I am reading and hearing about Israel is that President Obama won't kiss their ass. Other Presidents Bush and Clinton etc have went along to get along. President Obama won't go with the program that have been in place for many years. And the news is reporting that President Obama is damageing the relationship, He just won't agree with everything PM Netanyahu want.

The way I see it, Things have to go two ways. Israel have to give something to get something. Every President have tried to get Israel to go with the two state solution between Israel and the Palestinians. Israel have always pretended to go along, then would stop the talks. Or do something to upset the Palestinians such as, continue to build on the land. Or the flotilla incident with Gaza. Always something to antagonize the other party. I am now reading that Turkey is backing away from being Israels friend because of this.

Think about this. If Israel was a real person, and that person kept doing things to people where no one wanted to be that persons friend. Then we would say that person have a problem. It can't always be the other persons fault. The person causing the problem, need to look within themselves to see what is wrong, then proceed to fix the problem. Everyone can't be wrong but you. At least that is what I was told as a child.

To me this is what is happening with the situation with the US and Israel.
President Obama is not going to go along to get along. He is just as stubborn as PM Netanyahu. President Obama want to see some results. Israel is just wasting time. The last time PM Netanyahu was here it seems he thought he could go along as usual with the usual bull and President Obama would just let it slide. Not.... Didn't happen that way. Especially after Israel had undermined President Obama and embarrassed Vice-President Biden when he was in Israel for a visit, Israel announcing there would be more building settlements after pretending to go along with waiting to do so. That was not a good thing for Israel to do. And I'm sure President Obama let them know how he felt about it.

I don't know why people keep thinking that our President is weak. Or weak in foreign policy. If a person want to know about President Obama's personality, they should read his two books. And follow his campaigning over the years. On politics, his personality and he have an extensive knowledge of nuclear weapons. And as a black man growing up he had to be strong, stubborn and determined in order to succeed in whatever he ventured into. Leaders underestimate him. Other politicians underestimate him.
One thing I am sure of, our President is a thoughtful person. He have done his research before he walk in the room. The pro's and the con's of the problem.

So if PM Netanyahu is expecting wine and roses, I'm sure he isn't going to get it. He should come baring solutions to the problems that the US and Israel have. It is said there will be lots of people taking pictures. Well we will see, because PM Netanyahu pissed off President Obama so bad the last time he was here, there was no pictures or press conference. I'm sure PM Netanyahu did not expect that. And that embarrassed him, igniting the speculation that ties between Israel and the US was broken. I bet he won't underestimate President Obama again.

The relationship is not broken. President Obama is just not going to kiss Israels ass to have the appearance of just getting along. He want some movement and some results. And Tuesday I am expecting to see some.

Republicans Against The American People. They Want Us In Soup Lines

People still don't realize that we could of been standing in soup lines like we were during the Great Depression. This is why the Democrats and President Obama have been taking all the tough votes, and making all the hard choices for the American people.
Just say no is all the Republicans can say. There are 41 Republican Senators in the Senate. And 178 Republicans in the House of Representatives. The American people want their salaries back for the last 2 years from all 219 Republicans.
The annual salary of each Senator, and House member as of 2009, is $174,000. That is a total of

8,345,214.00 the Republicans have stole from the American people in the last 2 years. They need to refund their salaries to the American people.

Because they have not done any work for those salaries.

Millions of Republicans are out of work to. Or did the Senators and House Republican members forget that. Millions of Republicans will NOT have any unemployment checks to depend on in the coming weeks, losing their homes and not having any food to eat or money for gas so they can go looking for a job.

The Republicans want another depression, thinking that if they say no to everything that President Obama and the Democrats propose that the American people will put them back in power. Thinking that the President or Democrats are not doing their job. I guess the Republicans did not see the 2 or 3 people in the townhalls tell President Obama to just ram the legislation's through. Because they was hurting. Those comments got loud clapping and cheering from the 1000's that was there, because millions of Americans think the same way.
And it wasn't a black thing, these was white middle class men, all saying the same thing. I checked the media after these townhalls, none commented on those statements. And they should of zeroed in on them. Because that is how millions of Americans feel right about now, about the Republicans saying NO to everything and every regulation that pertain to the average American.

Here is one excellent example of the damage the Republicans, and I will add Democrat Ben Nelson, is doing to damage the economy even more, by filibustering the Jobs Bill over and over.

Personally I am talking to many people daily, updating them on what is going on in Washington daily. Everywhere I go, the grocery line or the line at Walmart or the Doctors office, in South Carolina. The media here don't always characterize exactly what is going on and who is responsible for it in Washington. So the public that don't follow Washington don't know that the Republicans are trying to sabotage the economy. Just so they can try to win an election. The media here don't report that it is the Republicans that is the hold up. They just report that the Senate failed to pass something. And since the Democrats are the majority, low information voters just assume that it is all the Democrats.

Teaparty and some Republicans are complaining about the debt and the spending. Sure it need to be addressed. But American have to get back on a firm footing first. Creating jobs, the 8 million jobs that have moved to other countries are not coming back. So we have to create a new manufacturing base here in America. That is going to take time. And more than the 18 months that President Obama have been in office. American businesses are holding back from hiring, meanwhile working the people they have overtime to keep from hiring, are waiting to see what will happen. What Washington legislators will do with the jobs bills, and unemployment insurance bills. The Senate need to pass the financial Wall Street Bill. So the Banks and Financial Institutions will relax knowing what the future hold for their companies.

The Republicans know that as long as the businesses and financial industry don't know what they are going to do in Washington, they are not going to move forward on hiring or investing in people or companies in America. Meanwhile Americans go jobless, waiting, waiting on their Representatives to do the right thing and pass legislation protecting them. And legislation that will promote and spur job growth.

I believe in a 2 party Democratic System in America. But the Republican game plan to take America back to the 1930's by saying NO is NOT what America need right now. America is known to pull out of deep recessions such as this. It is going to take some time and both parties to come together to put America back on our feet. And since the Republicans in office now are not looking out for the health of our economy, we all need to vote the Democrats in that are willing to take the hard votes, the Democrats who do want to look to the future for our children and grandchildren with clean energy initiatives, and holding the banking industry accountable. The Democratic candidates willing to take the hard vote to create a debt commission that can assist on helping to bring down the debt once America is on a sure footing.

And Democrats, do not be scared to pass Comprehensive Immigration laws, a good Bill. If as they say, there are 11 million Illegal Immigrants in America. Think like this. If those people are able to gain a path to be legal. That is tax money and fines from them, that they are already making and not paying into the system, that can go to bring down our national debt. That is millions of dollars that can go to the states and federal government to bring down their debts as well. It help them and it help America. So don't be scared, pass the dam bill.

Democrats, we still have a majority in the House and the Senate. Look deep in those rules that you all quote so much and find the loopholes that we can get proper good legislation passed without Republican help. If the Bill is a good Bill that is helping the American people and pulling us out of this debt crisis, then the American people will be excited to reward you with their votes, to put you back in office. Because you did do the right thing making the tough votes for them.
They don't care how you got the Bills through, as long as the Bills are helping them. Americans voted for change in a big way in 2008. The reason your poll numbers are down is because Americans are not seeing you all take the tough votes to bring the change they voted for.

Democrats, it's time to kick some tail for the American people. Because if you do what is right for the American people, you will have their votes come election time. And the Republicans, the party of NO. Will not have their jobs, since they have only a no vote for the American people.
