So the President invite you to the Whitehouse for conference and dinner. Even though Republicans have lied about him and his party nationally on just about every subject. Republicans even lied that the President have not invited Republicans to the Whitehouse before. Republican constituents and some in the House and Senate have called him all kinds of names, Nazi, Socialist, the devil etc... Even have a bunch of racist elements within the Republican party that they accept and don't denounce. And still the President invite Republicans to sit down to talk out differences, and have dinner.

My thoughts are, "Is He Crazy?" He is a better person than me. The Republicans in office ,right wing radio and tv are mean spirited, despicable and determined to try and delegitimize this President. Yet and still he keep trying to bring these deplorable people to the table to talk. Don't he see that they don't want to talk. All the Republicans want to do is try and make the President look bad to the American public. All the Republicans want to do is regain power. And they will do whatever it takes at the expense of the American people to bring down America so they can win.

That is why they have said NO for the last 2 years on everything the President have proposed. Even though Americans and their constituents needed help.
Mr President, they have found that this strategy worked for them this midterm election. Because the Republican Party is brought and paid for by the TeaParty and Corporates. So they have to take their marching orders from them. That is what they are waiting for. They think they have power over you. Forgetting that Democrats still have the Senate and the Whitehouse after January 3rd. And Democrats had better get some better messengers and PR people out there or we will lose everything in 2012.

President Obama, the Republicans are rude and dishonest. Don't invite them back. It's a waste of your time. And the American peoples time. Even though your administration have stopped the freefall of the economy, and created millions of new jobs, we are not out of the hole yet. And we have to move this country forward with or without the Republicans.

Mr President, stop waiting for the Republicans, they don't want to do anything to help the American people. They are about helping the rich get richer, and the banks and corporations get richer on the backs of the poor and middle class Americans. As you can see from this past election season, they will lie on anyone to get elected. And scared people half to death with lies to get elected. Mitch McConnell said on Fox that he was on the Presidents speed dial now. Yeah right. Did he forget he is in the minority in the Senate? The Republicans are on trial with the American people for the next 2 years. If they keep saying no and being rude to the Obama Administration the American people will say NO to them again in 2012. The American people want to move this country forward. And with both Democrats and Republicans with a 27% approval rating with the American people neither have a monopoly on the American vote.

Democrats and Young Voters Threw Their Futures Away By Not Voting

They did not vote.The Blacks, The Youth, and some Democrats that did not get the Public Option that they wanted in the Healthcare Bill. Or Don't Ask Don't Tell. They wanted to teach President Obama and the Democrats a lesson. Well they did. They cut off their nose to spite their face. All is not lost. The Democrats still have power.
We have the Whitehouse and the Senate. But the unnecessary losses in the House is the Democrats fault for no communication to the public about what it would really mean if they did not show up at the polls. And being proud of the achievements they have made over the last 2 years.

For all those college kids that need money and grants for college and green energy jobs of the future that did not show up to vote, well, the Republicans will not fund it. For all those Democrats, Republicans and Independents that need their unemployment checks extended and did not vote or voted Republican. Well the Republicans won't fund it.

I could go on and on with examples. Instead, all of the seniors, our grandparents, and all the people who can't stand the thought of a black man in the Whitehouse, that the Republicans scared half to death with lies the Democrats would take away their Social Security, and Medicare. They showed up and voted in masses. They are determined to take America back to the early 1900's by electing the so called, We came to take our country back crazy crowd.

Democrats it's Communication, Communication, Communication. Period.
Americans have ultra short attention spans. Mr President you may not like a sound bite but that is what America has come to sadly. A short sticky sound bite that they can remember.
Such as, Change We Can Believe In. Or Change. Remember??????

Also Democrats the blame game is null and void. Stop blaming each other and the Whitehouse. It's your fault for your lost.

This election was about being proud of being a Democrat and being in the Democratic Party. It was about screaming for all to hear all the 200 plus bills that passed the House and Senate that would benefit the American people. Explaining the Bills to them in plain english that the public could understand. And how they would benefit for your hard work. Making everything personal to the person. Many Senators and Congressmen/women did not do that.

We lost seats because you ran from your Party and your President. I'm hearing from some Democrats that the Whitehouse didn't do this or that. Bull, President Obama have a nation to run. He can't babysit 200 House members. The DCC and DSC gave out tools to use. You should have used them. Every district is different so the same won't work for everyone. But basic information do. 80% of the House members who proudly explained what they did for their constituents and embraced the President and their Party won.

If you are running from your Party and your President why should voters vote for you? And they didn't come out and vote for you.

Democrats, from the Whitehouse, Senate and House of Representatives, hire some good speech writers and communicators, one for every Democrat in Congress. Hire some people to cover the web to debunk all the garbage coming from the right wing party. People with good personalities that can relate to everyday people. Then put them out to spread the word about all the wonderful rules, laws and bills that the Democrats have passed to help move this country forward.

I don't mind losing a fight. Especially if I am fighting for my beliefs or someone I can believe in.
I still win, because no one can take my pride. I'm still a proud Democrat. Now Democrats it's time to fight, we may take this licking but we keep on ticking.
